<div>Cognitive training had a significant positive effect on global cognitive functioning (SMD = -2.84), executive functioning (SMD = -0.81), short-term memory (SMD = -1.34) and long-term memory (SMD = -0.77) for individuals with Parkinson's disease. No beneficial effect was noted for cognitive training in attention, visuospatial abilities, or clinical scales in this population. Limitations to this review include small samples sizes within included studies and high heterogeneity between studies. Further research is warranted.</div>
