Findings demonstrated emerging, but limited, evidence to support the use of the Padovan-Method Neurofunctional Reorganization® (PMNR) to improve oral musculature function in individuals with neurodevelopment disorders. However, there was a lack of overall evidence for or against the use of PMNR in this population due to heterogeneity between studies, significant risk of bias, reduced methodological rigor, and lack of high quality evidence with a preponderance of case report designs for included studies (14 of 18).
