<div>There was weak evidence for the use of Montessori-based activities for improving cognition in individuals with dementia. Findings indicated that lower-level cognitive abilities (e.g., memory and attention) may benefit, but higher-level abilities (e.g., spatial reasoning) are unlikely to improve.</div>
