<div>This systematic review investigates the effect of interventions for children who stutter. </div>
<div>The included studies suggested early intervention to significantly reduce disfluencies in children who stutter (CWS) in short-term and long-term outcomes. Results also indicated early intervention to reduce the impact of psychosocial problems associated with stuttering thereby improving the child’s quality of life. Although there has been a substantial number of recently published studies, the authors of the review cautioned that a single approach or technique may not manage all aspects of treatment in CWS and to use the evidence base as a starting point to shape an approach or practice.</div>
