Findings indicated that language interventions delivered by a teacher via a consultative-based service delivery model did not yield the same efficacy as SLP-delivered services; however, findings suggested that group or individual therapy delivered by a trained assistant could yield the same level of effectiveness as SLP-delivered services.

Although limited, findings suggested that speech and language treatment delivered in small groups can be just as effective and individual service delivery models to improve expressive language in children aged 6 to 12 years.
