Findings indicated social stories as highly effective in minimizing inappropriate social behaviors and teaching other social behaviors, such as initiating comments, requesting, and responding to peers. "In most of the studies, there was a generalization of results and other behaviors of children [on the autism spectrum] which were not included in the study" (p. 11).
