Findings demonstrated emerging evidence to support the use of repositioning chairs to aid in symptom relief and/or full resolution of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), with similar outcomes between individuals with posterior BPPV (P BPPV) and non-P BPPV. Recurrence rates of BPPV were between 11% and 27.9% within included studies. Due to overall paucity of evidence, high risk of bias, and reduced methodological rigor of included studies, further research is needed to determine the true efficacy for repositioning chair treatments for this population.
