National Initiative Brain & Cognition (Netherlands); Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO)

2007-2012

Randomized controlled trials; clinical studies

35

Of the 35 studies reviewed, six included participants with MCI. The findings suggest that cognitive interventions can be effective in improving performance in various areas such as memory, executive functioning, and processing speed. However, further research is warranted due to the heterogeneity of the interventions included, outcomes reported and methodological quality of the studies.
