Memory treatments appeared to be an effective intervention for individuals post TBI and stroke. Overall, memory treatment had a significant moderate effect (r = 0.51). Larger effects were found for treatments targeted working memory or stroke populations. Memory improvement without rehabilitation also reached a significant small effect size (r = 0.31); however, results suggest that therapeutic intervention accelerated improvement.
