<div>Interventions targeting social communication (i.e., social skills training and DIR Floortime program) demonstrated positive outcomes for children on the autism spectrum.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Limitations of this review include the small number of studies and sample sizes, the lack of control groups, lack of long-term effects, and the lack of feasibility and acceptance. Additional research is needed with bigger and more diverse samples to investigate outcomes and long-term effects.</div>
