Meta-analysis revealed the following regarding the predictive validity of the 6-CIT:<br /> <ul> <li><span style="color: #333333;">pooled sensitivity and specificity were 0.82 and 0.87 respectively;</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">compared to the MMSE, pooled sensitivity and specificity were 0.85 and 0.91 respectively; and</span></li> <li><span style="color: #333333;">compared to other tools the pooled sensitivity and specificity were 0.85 and 0.70 respectively.</span></li> </ul> <span style="color: #333333;">Limitations to this review included the small number of included studies. The authors indicated that future research may investigate differences in dementia subtype and the validity of this measure in additional countries.</span>
