Ward-Based Interventions for Patients with Hemispatial Neglect in Stroke Rehabilitation: A Systematic Literature Review

This systematic review investigates ward-based interventions for patients with right hemisphere spatial neglect after stroke. While the target audience for this review is nurses, the treatments were developed in collaboration with rehabilitation specialists in order to enhance the outcomes of patients with hemispatial neglect.
<div>Overall there was low-level evidence supporting various hemispatial and visuospatial neglect interventions to improve cognitive, functional, emotional and psychological outcomes. Based on the small number and heterogeneity of participants, further research is warranted.</div>
