<div>One study of veterans investigated group training in compensatory cognitive strategies and found significant improvement in attention, learning, and executive function. Another study of veterans investigated a training program for goal-oriented, attentional self-regulation and found improved cognitive function, emotional regulation, and functional performance.</div>

<div>Limitations to this review included potential publication bias, reduced level of evidence of the included studies, heterogeneity of the interventions, outcome measures, and included populations, and lack of studies investigating long-term impact of the interventions.</div>
<div>Two studies investigated technology-assisted cognitive rehabilitation. One did not find significant effects for a web-based educational intervention. The other found improved auditory attention with computer-based cognitive rehabilitation.</div>
