Findings demonstrated that the provision of orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) for individuals with temporomandibular disorders was associated with reductions in temporomandibular joint dysfunction symptoms. Mixed results regarding OMT provision and reductions in pain. Limitations to this review include an overall paucity of evidence, reduced quality of included studies, and heterogeneity between studies. Further research is indicated.
