This consensus-based guideline from the European Academy of Otology and Neurotology (EAONO)'s working group on vertigo provides consensus recommendations on the diagnosis and treatment of Meniere's disease in individuals.

For individuals with Meniere's disease, vestibular testing may include videonystagmography, caloric tests, video head impulse tests, vestibular evoked myogenic potentials, or electrocochleography.
For individuals experiencing fluctuating hearing loss, "an audiologic evaluation following a relevant history taking is mandatory for diagnosis of [Meniere's disease] MD" (p. 318).
