<div>Most participants across studies (87%), showed some degree of improvement in vocal utterances. These included increased vocalizations, improved expressive vocabulary, increased word approximations, increased spontaneous language, more new words spoken, and a greater number of turns taken in communication. No studies found a decrease in spoken language with SGD interventions.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Limitations to this review include potential for bias as only one reviewer verified search results.</div>
