Findings suggested that Social Stories™ treatments were generally ineffective in producing significant behavior changes among students with disabilities. Combined levels of effect could not be calculated in 10 of the included studies, while findings from 4 studies found these treatments to be ineffective, 2 found them to be questionable, 1 found them to be effective, and 1 found them to be very effective (PND= 0% to 92.2%).
