<div>The following writing interventions were indicated to improve the written expression of individuals on the autism spectrum:</div> <ul> <li>self-regulated strategy development;</li> <li>constant time delay;</li> <li>response prompting and sentence frames;</li> <li>video modeling;</li> <li>sentence combining and reinforcement; and</li> <li>prompting and graphic organizers.</li> </ul> <div>Almost all of the studies were reported to address combinations of interventions, which suggested that "packaging" interventions may be a response to individuals' complex needs, but discrete elements were not known.</div>
