Seven studies met WWC design standards with or without reservations, and six of these had a 100% success rate. Five of these studies had a strong effect size (Tau U = 0.93) of the intervention on daily living skills or social skills. Parent-mediated VBI meets the criteria to be considered probable EBP. This treatment is potentially effective across a variety of parental training methods, VBI styles, and participant characteristics.
