<p>For college students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), "conclusions about the communication coaching program and the transition program are difficult to make due to the limited data collected in both instances" (p. 730). "Despite the limitations described previously, there are some very promising practices" (p.730), including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Use of empathetic statements and questions with video feedback and visual framework models,</li>
<li>Accommodations such as extended time and small groups for examinations,</li>
<li>Combining technology and personalized, individualized psycho-social support programs, and</li>
<li>Communication coaching programs targeting social communication and executive functioning skills implemented across university settings.</li>
