Monitoring noise levels led to reduced exposure across a variety of industries and noise audits led to increased awareness and noise management. Screening for noise-induced hearing loss as well as training and education intervention positively impacted use of hearing protective devices; however, effectiveness of educational intervention was often context-dependent and influenced by manner of delivery. One limitation of this scoping review was the lack of methodologically high-quality studies.
