No strong research evidence was found to support or refute the use of frequency modulation (FM) systems for the treatment and management of auditory processing disorders (APD) in individuals. Available evidence is limited to clinical opinions suggesting the use of this amplification device to manage APD symptoms. Further research is required to determine the effects of the use of FM systems on APD outcomes.
