"Patients presenting with dysphagia and aspiration benefit from a multidisciplinary evaluation and management. The primary services involved in the care of patients with dysphagia/aspiration include the speech language pathologist/feeding team, gastroenterologist, pulmonologist and neurologist" (p. 52).

"In otherwise healthy patients, all (100%) members considered feeding therapy to be an appropriate initial management" (p. 54).
