<div>Speech therapy was associated with positive outcomes for adults with chronic cough. Across a limited number of studies, specific improvements were seen in:</div>
<ul>
<li><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">cough frequency;</span></li>
<li><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">cough reflex sensitivity;</span></li>
<li><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">cough-related and health-related quality of life; and</span></li>
<li><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">negative symptoms related to cough, breathing, voice, and upper airway functioning.</span></li>
</ul>
<div><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">Limitations to these findings include heterogeneity between studies and a lack of available research. </span></div>
