<div>Findings demonstrated that Functional Chewing Training was associated with improved chewing function for children with cerebral palsy in three out of three studies. Two studies demonstrated reduced severity of tongue thrust and reduced frequency and severity of drooling. Control treatments included both passive and active lip and tongue exercises.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>These findings should be interpreted with caution due to an overall paucity of research with small sample sizes and occasionally ambiguous description of control treatments.</div>
