Recommended management of feeding or swallow difficulties in individuals with Hunter Syndrome is as follows:

conservative management (e.g., feed thickening) or

gastrostomy insertion may be required.

For individuals with a risk of feeding or swallowing difficulties, it is recommended that a clinical assessment occur at each visit or a videofluoroscopic swallow study be conducted under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist.
