Of the studies reviewed, only one study met the What Works Clearinghouse evidence standards without reservations. Based on the findings from one study, "[Lindamond Phonemic Sequencing®] LiPS® was found to have potentially positive effects on alphabetics, reading fluency, and math, no discernible effects on reading comprehension, and potentially negative effects on writing for students with learning disabilities" (p. 1).
