<div>Multidisciplinary programs incorporating non-invasive education and cervico-mandibular manual therapies led to improvements in TMD-related pain, tinnitus severity, and quality of life (1 study) for adults with tinnitus associated with TMD. Similarly, conservative orofacial therapy also led to improved tinnitus severity (1 study). </div>

<div>Limitations of this review include the small number of included studies and high heterogeneity among treatment modalities of the included studies. Additional research is needed to investigate potential factors and mediators for treatment effects, long-term outcomes, and cost-effectiveness of tinnitus interventions.</div>
