Results indicated that auditory integration training had a significant positive effect on IQ (summary SMD = 0.59, 95%CI = 0.41–0.77), autism behavior checklist (ABC) scores (summary SMD = −0.58, 95%CI = −0.79 to −0.38), and autism treatment evaluation checklist (ATEC) scores (summary SMD = −0.75, 95%CI = −1.05 to −0.45) in Chinese children on the autism spectrum. Results revealed no significant difference on scores for the childhood autism rating scale (CARS).
