Goal Management Training had significant positive effects on executive functioning (g=0.227), working memory (g=0.438), performance on instrumental activities of daily living (g=0.390), mental health (g=0.309), and long-term memory (g=0.269). No statistically significant effect was noted for processing speed. All statstically significant effects were maintained at follow-up. An increased number of treatment hours was associated with improved outcomes. Further research is indicated due to heterogeneity and small sample sizes.
