The systematic review found: <ul> <li>Bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHAs) do not restore binaural hearing, and therefore, sound localization is not improved sufficiently.</li> <li>Speech discrimination in noise is improved, though results vary based on the location of the noise.&nbsp;</li> <li>BAHAs are effective in reducing the psycho-social consequences of hearing loss, and patients reported improved quality of life.</li> </ul>
