Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder with only evidence of pervasive brain dysfunction is defined by severe impairment in three or more neurodevelopmental domains, which include language and social skills or social communication (Strong Recommendation; High Quality).

Core team members across the lifespan (i.e., infants, preschoolers, school-aged children, adults) should include a speech-language pathologist (Strong Recommendation; High Quality).
