Randomized controlled trials and single-group experimental studies

The Epley maneuver was associated with significant improvement in BPPV symptoms (e.g., nystagmus, dizziness) and quality of life for adults with BPPV. These improvements were noted both in the short-term (1 to 10 days; 3 out of 4 studies) and long-term (6 to 24 months; 3 out of 3 studies). Limitations to this review include an overall lack of available research and heterogeneity between studies.
