<div>Findings demonstrated that, overall, the dosages of swallowing exercises for adults with stroke-associated dysphagia were poorly reported. When reported, dosages varied significantly from study to study. Due to the heterogeneity between studies, the optimal dosage for dysphagia exercise programs could not be determined. Further research is indicated.</div>
