Findings demonstrated a generally positive effect of treatment programs for children with ADHD on social skills and attention (effect size = 0. 79 [0.57, 1.08]). Two interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy and combined treatments, demonstrated the most significant levels of effectiveness (i.e., effect sizes of >0.80) for social skills, academic performance, and reducing behavioral problems.
