Six studies found that the Epley maneuver resolved clinical symptoms of vertigo in 74.15% of individuals with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). This success rate was six and a half times better than the resolution rate of the control group. Seven studies found that the Epley maneuver improved Dix-Hallpike test results (i.e., change from positive to negative result) in 74.88% of individuals with BPPV. This resolution rate was five times higher than the control group.
