Findings related to video-based and application-based assessment of infant and toddlers to identify autism were limited to seven studies. Three studies examined video conferencing or video analysis while four studies analyzed mobile or web applications. Overall, the literature showed promising results with some feasible methods. Further research with larger samples and more rigorous design is warranted.
