For the detection of MCI and dementia, the QMCI had a higher level of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity than the Standardized Mini Mental State Exam and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. However, due to the limited amount of research currently available on the QMCI as well as the small sample size of some included studies, additional research is warranted.
