<div>The Barbecue roll maneuver showed beneficial effects on HC-BPPV symptoms including long-lasting symptom relief compared to the Gufoni maneuver. Individuals with geotropic HC-BPPV showed greater benefits from the Barbecue maneuver compared to those with apogeotropic HC-BPPV. Patients with HC-BPPV showed less favorable responses to canalith repositioning maneuvers compared to those with posterior canal BPPV (PC-BPPV). Two studies reported on symptom recurrence in 2-21% of patients who underwent the Barbecue maneuver.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Limitations of this review include the heterogeneity of patient and intervention characteristics, the lack of descriptive information, small sample sizes, and the inability to conduct a meta-analysis. Additional research is needed to investigate recurrences of symptoms and transitions to PC-BPPV or other BPPVs.</div>
