<p>Overall, the evidence suggested that cognitive remediation and strategy instruction may be beneficial for individuals with executive functioning impairments secondary to TBI. Strong evidence was found to support the following treatments:</p>
<ul>
<li>direct attention training;</li>
<li>attention process training;</li>
<li>dual-task training;</li>
<li>executive function training; and</li>
<li>memory interventions involving encoding techniques, compensatory strategy training, and cognitive assistive technology (e.g. calendar software, electronic aids, pencil-and-paper methods).</li>
