<div>Overall, the evidence found for thermo-tactile stimulation (TTS) was low quality. All participants had dysphagia as the result of a neurological impairment. Short-term, positive effects were found for the use of TTS applied as a compensatory strategy immediately before swallowing. There was "no clear evidence currently available to support its long-term outcomes as a rehabilitative tool or its efficacy over other interventions" (p. 686).</div>
