Although limited by the methodological quality, heterogeneity of technologies used and small number of participants studied, the findings suggest that technology-based treatments (e.g., digital devices with reminiscence stimuli) have positive effects on social interactions and social engagement for persons with dementia and their caregivers. Further research is warranted.<br />
