Social skills training was indicated to have no effect on social skills, emotional competencies, and general behavior in children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). A secondary analysis indicated social skills training to have a favorable and clinically useful effects on ADHD symptoms (SMD=-0.39 [-0.63, -0.15]), but more evidence is needed.
