<div>Most studies compared the clinical evaluation of swallowing via telerehabilitation compared to standard face-to-face assessment. Overall, high levels of agreement were found between remote and face-to-face assessments. Findings were not influenced by the severity of dysphagia, severity of the disease, or the location of stroke. While these results provide preliminary evidence for the use of remote clinical swallowing assessments for people with neurologic dysphagia, further methodologically rigorous research is needed to generalize the results.</div>
