<div>Due to the considerable variability across types of biofeedback used, study design, and outcome measures, the authors were unable to draw firm conclusions on the effects of biofeedback on swallowing in individuals with Parkinson's disease. However, none of the included studies reported any adverse events associated with biofeedback. Additional research is needed. </div>
