<div>Findings demonstrated emerging evidence to support the use of immersive virtual reality (VR) in hospitalized individuals with COVID-19 to increase patient satisfaction and engagement. Reductions in the psychological impacts of COVID-19 were additionally noted following immersive VR cognitive treatments. No studies regarding non-immersive VR treatments for cognition were located. <br><br>Results should be interpreted with caution due to an overall paucity of research, small sample sizes, and overall poor methodological rigor of included studies. Further research is indicated.</div>
