<div>Eight patient reported outcome instruments were found to be commonly used with adults diagnosed with MS. Of these instruments, the Multiple Sclerosis Impact Scale-29 and the Leeds Multiple Sclerosis Quality of Life scale had the best overall reliability and validity based on the Evaluating the Measurement of Patient-Reported Outcomes (EMPRO) tool. Mean EMPRO scores were 68.7 and 67.0 respectively.</div>
