<div>Psychosocial interventions for dementia in individuals with intellectual disability were classified into three groups: behavioral interventions (e.g., behavior modification), systemic interventions (e.g., environmental modifications), and therapeutic interventions (e.g., reminiscence therapy). All included studies reported positive outcomes (e.g., reduction in challenging behaviors, enhanced psychological well-being, individual's quality of life). However due to methodological limitations, namely the reliance on indirect outcome measurement, further research is warranted.</div>
