The five measures included primarily focused on assistive technology to compensate for motor impairments. However, two measures, The Family Impact of Assistive Technology and the Psychosocial Impact of Assistive Devices Scale, included assessment of communication and activity. Both measures were judged to have excellent or good reliability, internal consistency, responsiveness, and content, structural and cross-cultural validity.<br />
