This systematic review investigates the effect of non-pharmacological interventions (i.e. physical activity, diet, cognitive training and smoking cessation) on cognitive decline in individuals diagnosed with stroke.
<div>A small subset of studies examined cognitive training and rehabilitation on individuals post stroke. While the interventions were heterogeneous, the majority revealed improvements in deficits in memory, attention, and executive function when compared to controls.</div>
